Giovanni Napoly

Starting his journey training in the island dance schools of his homeland Martinique, Napoli ventured onward to New York to gain his Bachelors of Fine Arts (dance) from Fordham University/Alvin Ailey American Dance Center. He then went on to study at the Dance Theater of Harlem (concentration in ballet) and American Musical and Dramatic Academy (concentration in singing and acting). Napoli’s performance experience includes works by Alvin Ailey’s Memoria and Judith Jamision’s Hymn and principle dancer for Genesis Dance Company under the direction of choreographer Karen Arceneaux. His commercial credit includes serving as swing, dance and fight captains for Broadway show The Lion King – Hamburg, Germany; Paris, France (cover Simba); UK Tour and Madrid, Spain. Additionally, award winning TV France2 film Fais danser la poussière directed by Christian Faure and choreographed by Marie Dô, Hommage à Grace Jones by renowned French visual advertisement artist Jean-Paul Goude and The Path of Pearls by esteemed French choreographer Tatiana Seguin touring in the Middle East.  He is a founding collaboration with WKcollective.
