A student of music, singing and theater, Nyandeni, a native of Durban, South Africa, graduated from the Mbongeni Ngema Performing Arts Center where she also participated in the workshop of the theater work Bhambatha directed by Mbongeni Ngema. Her performance journey then took her to Paris, France, where she served as an ensemble singer with The Lion King at Théâtre Mogador. Alongside she performed in La Grand Fête du Théâtre Musical (A celebration of musical theater) at Théâtre Comedia featured in a musical rendition of Broadway musical RENT’s “I’ll Cover You” French adaptation by Herve Lewandowski and Aurélien Berda and staged by Wanjiru Kamuyu. She has also served as an ensemble singer in the The Lion King’s Singapore production and is currently a singer swing in the show’s first national UK tour. She is a founding company member of WKcollective.
